This kit replaces the entire factory glow plug system with a plug and play setup that simplifies and outperforms the problematic factory system, with an industrial 400 amp rated White Rodgers 586-902 and full manual control, this kit is a bulletproof design to last many years without issue. Included in this kit is everything needed to make the conversion, and completely replace a factory glow plug system. Just add a pushbutton of your choice (Minimum 5 amp rating).

Utilizing All-American sourced materials, all CDD glow plug harnesses feature quality stranded copper wire, custom heat resistant braided loom in the shop colors, water resistant connections with marine heat shrink, hydraulically crimped heavy copper terminal lugs, and glass fiber reinforced bullet connectors, molded to fit tight on a ZD9 glow plug.

This kit is very well thought out, and perfectly executed. Combined with new Motorcraft plugs, my truck now starts great. I did not run into any issues with harness length or connector tightness. Everything is labeled and the directions make it foolproof. Iâd buy it again if I got another IDI.

This kit is awesome, and customer service is excellent. One of the connections was broken out of the box, called them and they overnighted me a new wire. I could have fixed it myself but I appreciate their willingness to fix to make it right with no hassle. My only real complaint is one side of the harness has to really stretch out to reach the 2 glow plugs under the turbo so they would pop off sometimes. Easy enough to adjust the zip ties. Starts up great every morning. -2*F last week and ran the glow plugs for 18 seconds. Fired right up. Very very pleased with their products.

I bought this kit to clean up my cold start issues on my 1993 7.3 IDI turbo. I tried new controllers and all the recommended repairs. Wired it up in a couple of hours and it fired right up cold with no smoking or miss firing. Thank you for providing such a well made kit with easy to follow instructions. I now do not hesitate leaving my truck outside as the weather is getting colder here in Wisconsin. Thank you Dale

Great guus awsome help if need and bullet proof system. Would never go bwck to old style glow plug set up much better easiernand cleaner. Did i mention bullet proof.

My truck has not been treated kindly by her previous owners and is an absolute wiring nightmare. The glow plugs have never worked quite right since Iâve had it and Iâve just been abusing the starter every since. This kit is fantastic quality and Iâm in love with the heavy duty relay. I could probably throw one together with a factory relay of sorts for half the price but this kit is worth every penny and much higher quality then what most people throw together. I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants to rebuild their old unreliable setup. The only thing I had to do with the wires was cut the little zip ties separating the individual bullet connectors because they didnât have quite enough slack running through the injection pump lines. My only complaint is that I wish the wires from glow plugs to relay were a little bit longer I have my relay mounted on the fender as his instructions suggest, but it just makes it and a little more slack would be nice. But overall I love it and if I ever end up with another idi I would buy again.
