CDD Performance E-Fuel Conversion Kits
CDD E-fuel systems entirely replace the factory fuel system while converting to a performance electric lift pump sized for your injection pump, push lock lines with AN style fittings, and greatly improving the fuel filtration with our dual filter head and pump assembly. Designed to work in conjunction with our single tank kits, this kit will replace every bit of fuel system between the rear tank and the front bumper.
Kit includes:
- 35-45 feet of -6 push-lock hose depending on cab size (replaces feed and return). Kit uses made in USA Parker hose rated for bio fuel and up to 300 psi without requiring any hose clamps
- Holley Red, Black or Walbro GSL392(s) depending on fuel pump selection
- Dual filter head w/ water separator, 2 micron final fuel filter and mounting bracket
- Holley or CDD fuel pressure regulator with Fuelab Gauge and mounting bracket
- CDD return line kit
- Injection pump feed line upgrade
- 40 amp water proof fuel pump relay and premade harness
- Mechanical lift pump delete kit
- Injection pump feed and return fitting upgrades
Product Overview:
The CDD E Fuel kit comes preassembled with the 15 micron water separator before the lift pump which feeds into a 2 micron secondary fuel conditioner filter. The lift pump itself, selected below, is powered by a 40 amp rated waterproof relay kit with premade, prelabeled wiring harness. From the filter/pump assembly, the supply line runs to the engine bay up to the provided regulator feed port, and out the outlet port to the injection pump feed, using the supplied o-ring and elbow fittings.
Also included in the fuel kit is a new return line kit which converts the return lines to the late 7.3 style, refer to our premium return line install kit for more a detailed return line installation guide: (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B5RwHEQ7U6UINh8DmjldbPciFzRoeiJKv_kHTb4Flik/edit?usp=sharing) You will tee cylinder #7 & #8 with the provided return line tee and route all of the return fuel back down the frame from the 45* black AN fitting. 6.9 and early 7.3s will need the injection pump return fitting swapped with the included barb 90*.
Provided to delete the factory lift pump is a chrome block off plate for the factory mechanical fuel pump hole in the block, and enough push lock hose (no hose clamps required) to replace the feed and return lines for your body style truck. The fuel system uses all high quality AN style fittings with push lock ends to run all the way to the injection pump (injection pump inlet fitting and feed line included), as well as a fuelab gauge for easy adjustment of the included pressure regulator. Non bypass fuel systems require fuel pressure setting of 5 psi, for bypass high pressure fuel systems, consult the pump builder for your fuel pressure setting.
High pressure systems are not compatible with stock injection pumps. Depending on your injection pump size, there are several options available to suit your power levels. Our base kit is designed to feed from stock to 130cc pumps that use stock fuel pressures around the 5 psi range. The next option up uses the latest from Walbro performance pumps, the gsl396 inline pump, which is capable of feeding up to 130 psi and 180cc. For customers running the largest pumps out there, we also offer a dual pump kit running twin Walbro GSL396s and capable of feeding up 275cc.
